The changing from spring to summer @ McIntyre Bluff, Vaseux Lake, BC., Canada
To most people of the Southern Okanagan, the sight of McIntyre Bluff, looming huge and dark just south of Vaseux Lake, is a familiar sight. The Bluff took its name from Uncle Pete McIntyre, a well-known figure of old-time days, who made his home at its foot. People tell a story, said to be an old Indian legend, of how ghosts came to haunt the bluffs. "Read the rest of the legend at":http://osoyoosmuseum.ca/story_of_mcintyre_bluff.htm
I am a fine art photographer, graphic/digital artist living in Penticton, BC. Canada. As a fine art photographer you have to dig deeper than merely pushing a button on a camera and capturing an image. You have to encapsulate how you as the artist views the scene, how it makes you feel, and what you want your viewers to see and feel. The camera is just one of many tools photographers processes to help convey these emotions to their viewers. Creating an image is not just viewing what the camera captures but expresses what the artist sees. My images, though seldom of the human form, are self portraits that emanate my innermost emotions in that moment in time. I think this is why I am recognized by my peers, people make a connection with me...
